At the three-month mark, you’ll meet with Christine, your Day of Coordinator and owner of Southern Charm Estate, to review and organize the overall plan.
In this consultation, she’ll review your timeline draft, confirm the overall flow of the ceremony and reception, gather vendor contact information, and note any setup needs for Southern Charm décor or personal items you’d like placed. This ensures everything connected to the venue and our services is organized and aligned well in advance.
-
One month before your wedding, Christine will meet with you again to fine-tune every detail. She’ll finalize your full wedding day timeline, confirm exact setup instructions for décor and rentals, and lock in your reception layout.
At this point, she also begins reaching out directly to your vendors with arrival times and expectations. The focus here is on peace of mind — making sure every detail is confirmed so you can relax knowing your wedding day will unfold seamlessly.
-
Christine will guide your wedding party through the full ceremony run-through — including the processional and recessional — so everyone knows their role, timing, and placement. This ensures the flow feels natural when the big moment arrives.
On the Wedding Day
-
Serving as the main point of contact for all vendors, guests, and family — handles questions and directions so you and your family aren’t interrupted.
Note: We require the couple to designate a trusted wedding-day point of contact who can speak on their behalf. Christine will consult with this person throughout the day. -
Christine manages the placement of all Southern Charm Estate décor as well as select personal items such as favors, memorial or gift table items, and similar details. From chairs and linens to décor pieces, she supervises every element to ensure your vision comes to life and the space is fully guest-ready when doors open.
Note: Our team does not set up items from outside rental companies or handle the setup of real china. Personal décor must be pre-approved by Christine during the 30-day consultation to be included in setup. This allows our team to be fully prepared for your wedding day. -
Christine keeps the timeline on track by communicating with vendors, managing the ceremony flow, overseeing transitions, and guiding formalities such as speeches, dances, and cake cutting to ensure each moment happens in an efficient manner.
-
Even with careful preparation, unexpected issues can arise on a wedding day — weather that shifts suddenly, vendors running behind schedule, or important items getting misplaced.
Christine identifies these challenges quickly and addresses them before they become noticeable, working quietly in the background so the celebration continues smoothly and as close to plan as possible. -
Christine ensures that gifts, cards, and select personal items are managed with care and placed where they belong. Whether that means setting them at the appropriate table during the celebration or transferring them to a trusted family member or friend afterward, she provides peace of mind that your belongings are safe and organized.
After the Celebration
-
At the end of the evening, Christine oversees the breakdown of Southern Charm Estate décor.
Note: At the end of the event, all personal items — including client décor — and all trash must be removed by the client or their designated representative before the end of the rental period.
-
Christine oversees vendor departures at the end of the night, confirming that all services have been completed and ensuring vendors leave the property according to venue guidelines. If final balances or gratuities are to be distributed, she facilitates that process so nothing is overlooked. This professional closeout ensures every vendor is properly settled before leaving, giving you confidence that the event has been wrapped up smoothly and completely.
